May 30, 1953: "Through an agreement announced late yesterday afternoon, the Palmerton Lumber Company is being split into two separate firms. Loren Palmerton is to be the sole owner and operator of the sawmill. D.A. Weidler is to be sole owner and operator of the moulding plant.
Loren Palmerton said the sawmill would have to be shut down for a few days while changeover was being made. He added that the mill would resume full operation as soon as possible.
Palmerton said his sawmill firm would be known as the Eldorado Lumber Company." (Herald and News)

September 9, 1954: "L.L. Palmerton and H.P. Ellingson jointly announce the sale by Eldorado Lumber Company of its operating facilities to Ellingson Lumber Company.
