July 20, 1905: “The Klamath Lake Lumber Company are building a planing mill at Hank's landing on the Upper lake. The lumber from their mill at Odessa will be brought down by boat and finished at the new mill. They already have a lumber yard established at this place.” (Klamath Republican)
August 3, 1905: “C. L. Noel, the builder for the Klamath Lake Lumber Company, states that the planer for the sash and door factory, which has recently been built near Hank's landing, was brought down the lake yesterday. The new factory will be ready for business next week.” (Klamath Republican)
August 17, 1905: “The Klamath Lake Lumber Company have bought the boiler and engine of D. M. Griffith, which was used on the steamer Alma, and the machinery that was on the wrecked steamer Jessie from J. F. Goeller. The company are putting this machinery in their new planing mill at the Marion Hanks place and will soon be ready with all kinds of flooring, ceiling and rustic.” (Klamath Republican)
August 31, 1905: “W. W. Pritchett and son, late of Portland, have now invested in the Klamath Lake Mill and Lumber Co. of this place. Mr. Pritchett is now in San Francisco buying a new and complete outfit of machinery for the sash and door factory which will be of the latest patterns.” (Klamath Republican)
September 28, 1905: “Claud Kirkpatrick came in Tuesday from Pokegama with a new planer, sticker and other machinery for a new sash and door factory, which Pritchett & Son are erecting on the property recently purchased in the Biehn addition. The plant will be run by steam power.” (Klamath Republican)
