LAMM LBR CO. - MOVING THE LOGS
April 11, 1916: "We understand that Captain Wickstrom has secured the contract for towing the timber rafts of the Lamm Lumber company from the west side logging camps to the mill at Modoc Point." (The Evening Herald)
March 21, 1940: “The Lamm Lumber Company of Modoc Point recently purchased five heavy trucks to put on their operations north of here. The trucks passed through here Tuesday morning and were lined up and photographed by some of the truck company officials before the delivery was completed.
The new trucks were all of the same make and carried new modern air brakes on both trucks and their trailers and a new type of rack to facilitate loading and unloading and to prevent accidents due to logs rolling off on rough roads.” (The Chiloquin Review)
