NICHOLS, B. F., SAWMILL
Bonanza
June 21, 1914: “A suit for claim and delivery of a 52 inch circular saw was filed with Circuit Court Clerk Chastain yesterday by Charles Horton. The complaint alleges that about two years ago the plaintiff loaned to A.D. Slack, a sawmill operator four miles north of Bonanza, the saw and that since then Slack sold the sawmill to B.F. Nichols, the defendant in the action.
The plaintiff alleges that the saw did not pass to Nichols' possession by virtue of the sale of the sawmill and that he has repeatedly demanded the saw without results. Delivery of the saw or a judgment for $80, its value, is sought plus legal disbursements. W.S. Wiley appears as attorney for Horton.” (The Klamath Falls Northwestern)
